The Light Before the First Ache
The day is finally ending, and the armor you wore to hold yourself upright can now be put down. You know the specific weight of a life narrowed by pain, the things you can no longer do, the person you used to be before the body became a cage.
But in this quiet exhale, remember that the light was there before the first ache, and it remains untouched by the suffering. It does not demand that you be strong or even functional; it only asks that you be present.
The Father's love is not a reward for endurance — it is the ground beneath you that cannot crack. You are not your limitations.
You are the light that shines despite them.
