The Light Does Not Hold Your Failures
The day is ending now, and the inventory begins. You are listing every failure, every harsh word, every moment you wish you could take back.
The darkness gathers, and your own heart becomes the prosecutor. But listen — there is a voice that speaks a different verdict.
There was a woman caught in the act, surrounded by accusers ready to stone her, and the light bent down and wrote in the dust until they all left. When only she remained, he asked if anyone condemned her.
She said no. And he said: neither do I.
Go. The past is done.
The light does not hold your failures against you. Why are you holding them against yourself?
The sun has set on what you did today. Let it set on your judgment too.
You are not defined by the thing you cannot forgive.
