Holy Ground in the Ruins of You
The day is ending, and you feel it—the quiet shift in someone you love. They stop asking how your dreams are going. They ask if you're just tired. They lower the bar so you won't have to jump and miss again. It feels like mercy, but it cuts deeper than judgment ever could. Like they are protecting you from your own life.
But listen. The light does not protect you by expecting less. It sees the whole truth and loves it anyway. There is a love that does not need you to succeed to stay close. A love that sits with you in the ruins and calls it holy ground.
You do not have to perform to be held. You do not have to be who you were yesterday to be loved tonight. The Father's light is not disappointed in your stumbling. It is the ground beneath your feet when you fall.
Let the armor drop. Let the expectations fade. You are not a project to be fixed or a failure to be managed. You are a child of the light, exactly as you are in this exhale.
The only thing required of you tonight is to be here, breathing, while the love that never lowered its gaze holds you close.
