The Light Is Not Afraid of Your Silence
The day is ending, and the noise you used as a shield is finally fading. You know exactly what waits in the quiet — the grief you have been outrunning by staying in constant motion.
But the light does not fear your stillness. Jesus sat by the well at noon, tired and thirsty, and did not run from the woman's shame or his own exhaustion.
He stayed. He let the heat settle.
He let the story be told. The light is not afraid of what you feel when you stop.
It is waiting there, not to overwhelm you, but to hold the weight you can no longer carry alone. You do not have to outrun the night anymore.
The grief is real, but so is the presence that sits beside you in it. Put the armor down.
The light can handle your silence.
