He Ran Before You Spoke
The day is ending, and the inventory you take feels like a verdict. You are convinced that your anger toward God proves you never truly loved him—that the fire in your chest is evidence of a heart that was always cold.
But listen. The light does not require your silence to stay near.
There is a father who saw his son coming home from a long way off, covered in the mess of his own choices. He did not wait for the apology.
He ran. Before the speech, before the shame could finish its work—he ran.
Your anger is not the end of the story. It is the cry of someone who still believes there is a Father to be angry at.
God is greater than your heart's condemnation. The light is not afraid of your darkness.
It walks right into it. You are not defined by the storm inside you, but by the One who stands within it, waiting for you to look up.
