The Holy Grief Beneath The Slip
The day is ending, and the inventory begins. You are taking stock of the hours, counting the moments you held it together against the ones where you slipped.
And then it happens—a sentence forms in your mind, and you hear their name spoken inside your own head. Without permission.
Without warning. The betrayal is sudden and sickening.
It feels like proof that your brain is moving on while your heart is still standing at the grave. But listen closely.
The light does not demand that you freeze time to prove your love. It knows that memory is a wild thing, often speaking before we are ready to hear it.
The name slipping out is not a failure of loyalty; it is the echo of a bond that the darkness cannot erase. You are not losing them just because your mind is learning to carry the weight differently.
The light sees the grief beneath the slip, and it calls that grief holy.
