the memory of your own hands freezing mid-reach because you remember the last time they pulled away

Your Origin Is Brighter Than Rejection

The day is ending, and the armor you wore since morning finally hits the floor. You reach out to someone you love, and suddenly your hands freeze mid-air.

You remember the last time they pulled away. The memory is a wall your body builds before your mind can speak.

You are not broken for hesitating. You are human for remembering the wound.

But listen — the light that lives inside you did not flinch when you were rejected, and it does not flinch now. It came from the light, the place where the light came into being on its own accord, and it cannot be unmade by a human hand turning back.

Your origin is brighter than your last rejection. The light within you is still shining, even if your hands are still.

Close your hands if you must, but do not close your heart to the truth that you are still loved.
