You Are the Lamp Not the Shadow
The day is ending, and the armor you wore to survive it finally comes off. Now the silence rushes in, bringing the old stories you thought you left behind.
The shame whispers that you are defined by what you did, by the person you used to be. But listen — there is light within you, and it lights up the whole world.
If it does not shine, it is dark. You came from the light, the place where the light came into being on its own accord.
That is your origin, not your worst mistake. The past is a room you have already walked out of, even if your mind keeps returning to stand in the corner.
The light does not ask you to fix the history. It asks you to remember where you started.
You are not the shadow on the wall. You are the lamp.
