The Light Sees You Unchanged
The day is ending, and the armor you wore to hold your composure is finally heavy enough to put down. You did the work, you carried the weight, and yet the door opened for someone else while you stood in the hallway.
It feels like a quiet erasure of your value, a hollow space where recognition should be. But the light that sees you does not depend on a title to know your worth.
It saw you before the promotion existed, and it sees you now, unchanged in your essence. You are not defined by what was withheld, but by what cannot be taken.
The world measures in rankings, but the light measures in presence. You are enough, not because of what you achieved today, but because of who you are when the achieving stops.
