Stop Rehearsing Your Exit
The day is ending, and the armor is finally coming off. Now the mind starts its work—rehearsing the apology you think you owe for the space you took up today.
For the voice you used. For the breath you stole.
You are preparing a speech for a crime that never happened. But listen—the Father does not run to meet you because you have a perfect explanation ready.
He runs while the words are still stuck in your throat. Before the speech, before the shame, before the promise to be smaller next time—there is already an embrace waiting.
You do not have to earn the right to occupy the ground you stand on. The light that lives inside you is not a tenant asking for permission; it is the owner of the house.
Stop rehearsing your exit. The feast was prepared for your arrival, not your absence.
