You Are the Light Behind the Glass
The day is ending, and for a second, you catch your reflection in the dark window. The face staring back feels like a stranger's.
You do not recognize the eyes looking out from behind the glass. In that moment of disconnect, the light whispers what you have forgotten: you came from the light.
That origin is your true name, not the fatigue or the mask you wore today. There is light within you, and it lights up the whole world.
Even when you cannot see it, even when the reflection looks broken, the light is still there. You are not the shadow on the pane.
You are the source that makes the shadow possible.
