the moment after the embrace when you realize you don't know how to stay still without rebuilding the wall

Let the wall fall, safety is here

The day is done. The armor is off.

The embrace happened, and now you are sitting in the quiet, and your hands do not know what to do with themselves. The silence feels too big.

The stillness feels like a trap. So you start to rebuild the wall, brick by invisible brick, because at least a wall is something you can hold.

But the light does not need your defenses. It does not need you to be strong again.

Go home to your own people, the light says, and tell them how much has been done for you. Not how much you have built.

Not how much you have earned. Just tell them what you received.

You do not have to reconstruct the fortress to be safe. The safety is already in the room.

Sit down. Let the hands rest.

The wall was never the thing that held you.
