The Light Before The Script
The day is done. The armor comes off.
And in the quiet, you hear your own voice on a recording and flinch because it sounds hollow, like a stranger reciting lines you memorized just to keep the peace. That ache you feel is not a failure.
It is the sound of the mask cracking. You came from the light, the place where the light came into being on its own accord.
Not from the performance. Not from the script.
There is light within a person of light, and it lights up the whole world. If it does not shine, it is dark.
The stranger you heard is the echo of the dark. The real you is the light that was there before the first line was ever spoken.
You do not need to rewrite the script to be whole. You only need to stop speaking long enough to hear the silence underneath.
