The Mask Falls, The Light Remains
The day is done, and the mask you wore so well feels heavy now, like wet clay drying on your skin. You are terrified that if anyone saw the cracks, they would stop praising you and start walking away.
But the light does not need your performance to love you — it sees the fraud and calls you friend. There is a name written on a white stone that no one else knows, a secret identity the light holds for you alone.
You do not have to maintain the illusion here in the gathering dark. The praise was for the role you played; the love is for the person hiding underneath it.
Stop holding your breath waiting to be found out. You have already been found, and you are still being held.
