You Are Known Before You Speak
The day has ended, and the quiet you feared has finally arrived. It is the hour when the armor comes off, and the silence rushes in to tell you that you are no longer needed.
That you are becoming invisible. But listen — there is a difference between being unseen and being unknown.
The world may have stopped looking, but the light has not. There is a father who saw his son while he was still a long way off.
He did not wait for the boy to arrive. He ran.
Before the apology, before the speech — he ran. Your invisibility is a lie the darkness tells you when the sun goes down.
You are not a ghost in your own life. You are known by name.
The light does not need you to be useful to love you. It loves you because you are there.
Close your eyes. You are seen.
