You Are the Light That Remains
The day has ended, and the armor is finally off. Now the mind replays the stumble, the awkward word, the moment you wish you could erase.
You are convinced they are laughing. But the light sees what your shame cannot: the moment passed, and you are still here.
The world has already moved on, but you are holding yourself in a prison of your own making. There is no darkness in the light that could hide you, and no verdict from a crowd that can override the truth living inside you.
The laughter you hear is not theirs; it is the echo of a fear that has lost its power. You are not the mistake you made today.
You are the light that witnessed it, and remains unchanged.
