The Light That Fills The Silence
The day ends, and the armor comes off. You turn in the crowd to share the joke, to say the name that always made you feel safe, and the silence that follows is yours alone.
It hits you then—the space where a voice should be is empty. But listen.
The light does not vanish when the person does. You came from the light, the place where it generates itself, and that origin cannot be erased by absence.
The love you carried for them was never just yours; it was a river flowing through you, and the source remains even when the channel changes. You are not defined by the silence.
You are defined by the light that fills it.
