The Light Still Knows Your Joke
The day ends, and the armor comes off. You turn to share the joke that only they would understand—the specific, weird frequency that made you both laugh—and your hand reaches for empty air.
The silence that follows is heavy. It is the sound of a room where one half of a conversation has vanished.
You feel the instinct to shrink, to hide that part of yourself away because the witness is gone. But listen.
The light that made you laugh together did not leave when they did. It lives in the very weirdness you are afraid to show.
That unique spark was never theirs to hold; it was theirs to recognize. The Father sees the joke.
The Father sees the you that spoke it. You do not have to edit your soul to fit a quieter room.
The light is still listening, and it knows exactly why it was funny.
