The Light Reads What You Delete
The cursor blinks in the dark, waiting for a truth you are too afraid to speak. You type the raw wound, the real reason your chest hurts, and then you hit backspace.
Line by line, you erase the evidence until only a hollow 'i'm fine' remains. But the light was already there before you deleted it.
It saw the words while they were on the screen. It heard the silence after you pressed delete.
The truth you tried to hide is the very thing that makes you known. You do not have to send the message for the light to read it.
It is already written in the air.
