The Draft Your Father Already Reads
The cursor blinks in the dark, a small pulse against the black screen. You have typed the truth, deleted it, typed it again, and watched it vanish into the void.
The words feel too heavy to send, too dangerous to release into the world. You are guarding a vulnerability that feels like it might break you if anyone sees it.
But listen — the light does not require you to hit send. It does not demand that you expose your heart to people who might not understand.
There is a silence deeper than your unsent text, a knowing that hears the words before you type them. You do not have to prove your love or your pain to be held.
The Father sees the draft in your mind and loves you as if you had spoken it aloud. You are already known, even in the silence.
The message was never for them; it was for the part of you that forgot it was safe to exist.
