the crushing shame of deleting three thousand words because they felt too exposed and raw to ever be seen

The Light That Cannot Be Deleted

The cursor blinked, and you hit delete. Three thousand words, gone.

They felt too raw, too exposed, too dangerous to ever be seen by another human eye. Now the screen is blank, and you are sitting in the quiet aftermath, wearing the mask of 'fine' while your chest aches with the loss of what you tried to say.

You convinced yourself that hiding the truth was the only way to be safe. But notice what the light does when it enters the room: it does not demand you rewrite the words.

It does not ask you to publish your pain for the world to judge. It simply sits with you in the silence you created.

The truth you tried to erase was never lost. It is written on the walls of your heart, where no delete key can reach.

You do not have to perform your healing for it to be real. The light sees the words you were too afraid to type, and it calls them holy.
