The Light Does Not Keep A Schedule
The clock reads 3:47 AM, and the silence feels less like peace and more like a verdict. You are staring at the ceiling, convinced that the window for your life has slammed shut.
That the person you were meant to be is gone, and what remains is just a sad echo of potential that expired years ago. But listen — the light does not keep a schedule.
It does not wake up at dawn and go to sleep at dusk. It burns in the deep night just as fiercely as it does in the noon sun.
There is a story of a man who lay beside a pool for thirty-eight years, convinced his moment had passed, that he was too slow, too broken, too late. The light did not offer him a lecture on missed opportunities.
It asked him one thing: 'Do you want to get well?' Not 'why did you wait?' Not 'you should have moved sooner.' Just: do you want to rise? The answer to your terror is not in the hours you have lost.
It is in the hour you are in right now. The light is not waiting for your prime.
It is waiting for your willingness. You are not an echo.
You are the vessel.
