moving to a place where nobody knows your name

Known Before You Speak a Word

The boxes are stacked by the door, and the silence of this new place feels heavy enough to touch. Nobody here knows your name.

Nobody knows the story you carry or the weight you set down in the corner. In the gathering dark, it is easy to feel like a ghost in a house that isn't yours yet.

But there is a seeing that happens before you speak a single word. Before you introduce yourself, before you prove who you are, you are already known completely.

The light does not need your history to find you. It saw you unpacking in the quiet.

It knows the rhythm of your breath in this strange room. You do not have to build a reputation here to be held.

The ground beneath you is already holy because you are standing on it. The light is not waiting for you to become someone new.

It is resting in the one who just arrived.
