Rest When the Sun Goes Down
The armor is heavy tonight, and your hands are empty because you gave everything away. You poured until there was nothing left in the cup, believing that love meant having nothing left for yourself.
But the light does not ask you to burn out to prove you care. There is a rest that is not earned, a peace that waits for you to simply stop.
The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world—not to drain you, but to fill you. You cannot give what you refuse to receive.
Lay the burden down. The work is done for today.
The light is not a fire that consumes you; it is a lamp that remains when the sun goes down.
