Peace Remains When Words Stop
The argument ended hours ago, but your mind is still fighting it, rehearsing lines you wish you had said. You are trying to win a battle that is already over, carrying a weight that belongs to the past.
The light does not ask you to be perfect in your defense, only present in your honesty. There is a truth inside you that came from the light itself, a place where the light generated its own witness.
You do not need to construct a better version of yourself to be held. The silence you are trying to fill is not empty; it is waiting for you to stop speaking long enough to hear what was already there.
The perfect response was never the point; the peace that remains when the words stop is.
