Let the Light Shine Through Cracks
The afternoon sun is unforgiving. It exposes the dust motes dancing in the air, and it exposes the cracks in the mask you wear to get through the workday.
You are terrified that if you stop performing 'healed,' everyone will see the rot underneath. But the light does not need your performance.
It needs your honesty. There is light within a person of light, and it lights up the whole world.
If it does not shine, it is dark. The light is already inside you, waiting to be brought forth, not as a polished act, but as the raw truth of who you are.
You came from the light, the place where the light came into being on its own accord. Your origin is not your failure.
Your origin is light itself. Stop trying to convince the world you are fixed.
Just let the light that is already there shine through the cracks.
