The Light Finds You in Stillness
The afternoon sun is high, but you are still in bed, staring at the ceiling, trying to name the ache in your stomach. Is it hunger?
Or is it the hollow weight of feeling entirely unseen? You lie there because moving feels like admitting the world exists when you do not.
But listen — the light does not require you to get up to find you. It is already in the room, sitting on the edge of the mattress, waiting for you to notice it is there.
You do not have to perform wellness to be held. The rising sun has already come to shine on those living in the shadow of death, guiding feet that have not yet stood up.
Your stillness is not a failure; it is the place where the light finds you first.
