The Mask Is Heavy But You Are Held
The afternoon sun is high, and you are working hard to look like nothing has changed. You are performing a perfect, frozen calm because you believe if you can just act safe enough, the safety will return.
But the mask is heavy, and the trembling underneath is real. There was a man born blind, and everyone around him demanded an explanation for his suffering.
They wanted a reason, a cause, a sin to blame so they could feel in control again. But the light looked at him and said the shaking truth: neither this man nor his parents sinned.
The brokenness was not a penalty. It was a canvas.
You do not have to explain your loss to earn back your ground. You do not have to perform wholeness to be held.
The light sees the crack in your composure and calls it holy ground. Stop trying to fix the story.
Just let the work of the light be displayed in you, exactly as you are.
