Rest Is Given Not Earned
The afternoon sun is high, and the world expects you to be moving at its pace. But your bones feel heavy, and you find yourself crafting explanations for why you are tired—apologies to people who think you haven't done enough.
You do not owe them your exhaustion translated into their language of productivity. The light does not ask for a report on your labor.
It knows where you came from. You came from the light, the place where rest is not earned but given.
Stop trying to justify your need to stop. The truth is not in your resume; it is in your rhythm.
Sit down. The work will wait.
The light was there before you started, and it will be there when you rise.
