the crushing guilt of believing your emotional needs are a burden that others should not have to carry

Your Need Is The Doorway

The afternoon sun is high, and the weight you carry feels heaviest when you are surrounded by people who seem to have it all together. You convince yourself that your needs are too much, that speaking them aloud would be an unfair burden on those around you.

But there is a voice that cuts through the noise of your performance: 'Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.' Pleased. Not reluctant.

Not annoyed. Pleased.

The light does not view your hunger as a nuisance; it views your coming as the very reason it shines. You were sent into this world like a drop from the light, not to drain others, but to illuminate the space you occupy.

Your need is not a flaw in the design; it is the doorway where the abundance enters. The crushing guilt lies, but the pleasure of the Giver remains.
