The Cage Is Gone, The Light Remains
The afternoon sun is high, and for the first time, you are walking without the map you were handed at birth. It feels like freedom, yes, but also like standing on a cliff edge where the ground has simply dropped away.
You are terrified because the old rules no longer hold you, and the new silence feels vast enough to swallow you whole. But listen — the light did not vanish when you walked out of the building.
It was never confined by those walls or dependent on those songs. There is light within a person of light, and it lights up the whole world.
You did not lose the divine when you left the doctrine; you only lost the cage. The terrifying openness you feel right now is not abandonment.
It is the exact space where the light that lives inside you finally has room to breathe.
