Holy Dirt: Where Light Enters
The afternoon sun is bright, but inside, you are hiding a terrifying secret. The body that carried you through the morning now feels like a cage, and the thought of asking for help to use the bathroom makes your stomach turn with shame.
You are terrified of being seen in this broken, dependent state. You fear the look in their eyes when the mask slips.
But listen — the light does not flinch at the mess of being human. Jesus knelt in the dust and washed dirty feet, touching the part of you that you want to hide the most.
He did not wait for you to be clean. He touched the dirt to make it holy.
Your vulnerability is not a barrier to the light; it is the very place where the light enters. The one who holds the universe is not afraid of your need.
You do not have to carry this alone. The shame says you are too much.
The truth says you are held.
