The Light Needs No Perfect Timing
The afternoon sun holds the weight of words you practiced but never spoke. You rehearsed the apology until the moment passed, and now silence feels like the only safe place left.
Saying it now might only tear the scab off a wound that is finally closing. But listen — the light does not need your perfect timing to do its work.
You came from the light, the place where it generates itself, and that origin remains untouched by your missed opportunities. The father in the story did not wait for the speech to finish before he ran; he saw the heart from a long way off.
Your silence is not a barrier to the one who knows what you meant to say. The apology was for them, but the peace you are searching for was always inside you.
