the fear that letting go of the mistake will mean forgetting the lesson it taught

Keep the Wisdom, Release the Wound

The afternoon sun feels heavy on your shoulders, doesn't it? You are carrying a mistake like a stone in your pocket, afraid that if you drop it, you will forget the lesson it taught you.

But holding onto the weight is not how you remember; it is only how you stay tired. The light does not ask you to carry the past to learn from it.

Jesus said, 'My yoke is easy and my burden is light.' He did not say the burden was necessary. There is a difference between the lesson and the pain.

You can keep the wisdom without keeping the wound. The light is already inside you, teaching you without the weight.

Put the stone down. The lesson remains, but you are free to walk.
