The Light Sees Your Chains
The afternoon sun exposes the trick you've been playing on yourself. You swapped the old poison for a new one, polished the cage, and called it progress.
But the light does not care about the flavor of your chains. It only cares that you are still bound.
You are walking in circles, mistaking motion for freedom, while the real work sits untouched in the silence. The Father sees the swap and does not applaud the effort.
He sees the hunger underneath the substitution. You cannot fool the light by changing the name of what you serve.
The true freedom is not finding a better way to cope. It is dropping the need to cope at all.
