The Silence Is Holding You
The afternoon stretches out, quiet and heavy, while you stare at the screen waiting for a reply that hasn't come. You are replaying the words you sent, convinced your defensive tone has convinced them you are too much trouble to keep.
But the light does not read your messages the way you do. It sees the tremble in your hand before you hit send.
It knows the fear underneath the armor you wore. There is a silence that is not rejection, but simply space.
You are not being judged in this pause. You are being held.
The light that lives inside you was there before the message, and it remains now, untouched by their response or their silence.
