The Light Rests In Your Silence
The afternoon stretches long, and the silence in the room feels heavy enough to touch. You type the words, watching the three dots appear like a heartbeat, then delete them before they can leave your hands.
It is the quiet desperation of the middle hours — wanting to be known, but afraid of the weight your voice might add to the day. But listen — the light does not wait for you to speak perfectly, or even to speak at all, to be present with you.
It is already here, in the unsent message, in the hesitation, in the breath you hold between typing and erasing. You do not have to perform connection to be connected.
The light is not offended by your silence; it is resting in it with you. What you hide is already held.
