Your Cracked Voice Is Enough
The afternoon stretches long, and in the quiet hum of the routine, that one moment replays on a loop. You hear your voice crack.
You feel the heat rise. You wish you could reach back into the air and swallow the words before they ever left your throat.
The middle of the day is where the mask feels heaviest, where the performance of being okay wears thin. But listen — the light does not ask for a perfect voice.
It does not require you to edit your tremble before you speak. There was a man who carried a storm inside his mind, tormented and broken, and when he was made whole, the light told him simply: go home to your people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you.
He did not have to fix his story first. He just had to go.
Your cracked voice is not a disqualification. It is the very sound of honesty breaking through the performance.
The light is not listening for polish. It is listening for you.
