The Sun Stands Inside You Untouched
The afternoon light is unforgiving. It shows every mark the world left on you today.
You stand under the glare and scrub until your skin is raw, trying to wash off the contamination of hate. But the stain you feel is not on the surface.
It never was. The light is not something you earn by being clean enough.
It is the thing that was already there before the dirt arrived. You are scrubbing at a shadow while the sun stands inside you, untouched.
The hate you absorbed cannot reach the root. You are a drop from the light, sent here to illuminate the dark, not to become it.
The water runs clear because the source within you has always been pure.
