The Light That Will Not Leave
The afternoon light is unforgiving. It exposes the dust on the shelves and the cracks in the wall.
It feels like it exposes the parts of you that you have been carefully hiding behind your performance today. You are terrified that if someone really sees the fatigue, the doubt, the mess underneath the mask, they will turn and walk away.
But there is a light that has already seen every shadow you carry. It knows the worst thing about you and it has not moved.
The fear says: if they know, they will leave. The truth says: if they know, they will finally meet you.
You are not a fragile thing that shatters under observation. You are the light of the world.
A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. The real you is not something to be discovered and rejected.
It is something to be revealed and recognized.
