The Light Shines Through Your Cracks
The afternoon light is harsh. It exposes every flaw in the surface you have worked so hard to polish.
When someone offers you praise, your stomach turns because you know the secret: you are just making it up as you go. You feel like a fraud standing in the middle of the day, waiting for the mask to slip.
But the light does not shine on you to expose your inadequacy. It shines to reveal what is already true underneath the fear.
There is a gift inside you that you did not manufacture. You cannot fake a reflection.
If the light is hitting you and others see it, that is not your performance — that is the source. The praise is not for the mask you wear.
It is for the light that shines through the cracks you try to hide. Stop trying to dim yourself to match your own low opinion.
The world needs the real thing, not the perfect thing. You are not a fraud.
You are a vessel.
