The Light Is Still Home Behind The Glass
The afternoon light hits the glass, and for a second, the face looking back feels like a stranger's mask. Hollow.
Worn by someone else who is just going through the motions. You wonder if anyone would notice if the real you stopped showing up.
But there is a light within a person of light, and it is waiting to shine through that very emptiness. The darkness has not overcome it.
You are not the hollow reflection; you are the source behind the glass. The mask is just tired.
The light is still home.
