The Light Finds You in Silence
The afternoon is long, and the silence you are sitting in right now is not peace. It is exhaustion.
You have cried until the well ran dry, until your chest ached so deeply that making a sound felt like lifting a stone you no longer had the strength to move. So you stopped.
And in this quiet, the fear whispers that you are alone, that the light has left because you cannot summon the energy to call out. But listen closely.
The light does not require your voice to stay. There was a man who lay beside a pool for thirty-eight years, too weak to reach the water, too tired to explain his need.
He did not have to shout to be seen. The light walked straight to him, asked him one gentle question, and told him to stand.
Your silence is not a barrier. It is simply the place where the carrying begins.
You do not have to make a sound for the One who knows exactly how heavy the stone has been.
