The Light Shines When Walls Fall
The afternoon hums with the noise of people holding it together, pretending the walls aren't thin. You carry a sound inside you that feels too heavy to release, terrified that if you finally let it out, the structure will collapse and silence will be the only answer.
But the light does not depend on your walls standing; it shines whether the roof holds or falls. There is a voice that knows exactly how loud your cry is before you speak a single word.
The darkness has not overcome it. The sound you are afraid to make is the very thing that proves you are alive, not the thing that will destroy you.
You do not have to hold the ceiling up by yourself.
