Daughter, Not Worker: Your Worth Is Given
The afternoon asks for your output, and it is easy to believe you are only as valuable as the last thing you produced. When the work stops, the terror rises: that without your utility, you are nothing.
But the light does not measure you by your labor. There was a woman who reached out in a crushing crowd, desperate just to touch the edge of a garment, convinced she had to earn her healing through effort.
Jesus stopped the entire procession to tell her that her faith, not her function, had made her well. He called her Daughter.
Not Worker. Not Producer.
Daughter. Your worth is not a wage you earn by being useful to others.
It is a fact that exists before you do a single thing. The light sees you when you are empty-handed.
You are loved not for what you carry, but for who you are.
