The Light Waits in Your Dark
It is three in the morning, and you are standing before the mirror, rehearsing a voice that does not belong to you. You force the corners of your mouth up, terrified that if you let them fall, the crack in your composure will be heard in the playback.
You are trying to convince the glass that you are whole, while your hands tremble with the weight of the silence. But the light does not need your performance.
It does not ask for a cheerful recording or a polished smile. It simply waits in the dark with you, unimpressed by the act and unmoved by the fear.
The Father sees the exhaustion behind your eyes and loves the person hiding there, not the mask you are crafting. You do not have to get the take right.
You do not have to sound okay. The truth is already known, and it is already held.
The light is not listening for your perfection; it is waiting for your honesty.
