You Are The Interruption Not The Echo
It is three in the morning, and the house is finally quiet, but your heart is still racing. You held your child tonight, wanting to soothe them, and for a split second, you heard your own voice sound exactly like the one that hurt you.
The fear seized your throat—the terror that the damage was passed down, that you are now the source of the storm you once fled. But listen to the silence around you.
The darkness is deep, yes, but it is not the final truth. There is a light within you that existed before your parents ever spoke a word, and it exists inside your child right now, untouched by any harsh tone.
That light cannot be broken or earned; it simply is. You are not the echo of your past.
You are the interruption. The cycle stops here, in this room, with your trembling hands holding what is precious.
