Stop Explaining and Let the Light Shine
It is late, and the house is quiet enough to hear the rehearsal begin again. You are practicing the speech you will give tomorrow for why you are still stuck, why the thing is not fixed, why you are still standing in the same rubble.
You polish the excuses until they sound like reasons, hoping someone will finally believe that you are trying. But in this watch, the light does not ask for your defense.
It asks for your honesty. There is light within a person of light, and it lights up the whole world — even the parts you are trying to explain away.
You do not need to convince the darkness that you deserve to be seen. You only need to stop talking long enough to let the thing inside you shine.
The speech was never the point. The light was.
