rehearsing the confession of your own fraudulence before anyone has even asked a question

Stop Rehearsing Your Apology to the Light

It is late, and the house is quiet enough to hear the rehearsal begin. You are practicing the speech where you admit you are a fraud, bracing for a question no one has asked yet.

You are building a case against yourself in the dark, acting as both the accuser and the accused. But the light does not need your confession to know who you are.

It knows you came from the light, the place where the light came into being on its own accord. You are not an imposter trying to sneak into a room where you don't belong.

You are a drop from that light, sent here with purpose. Stop rehearsing the apology.

The only truth that matters is the one written on your origin, not the one you are inventing for tonight.
