The Light Held Your Silence
It is 3:47 in the morning, and the memory of last Tuesday is sitting on your chest like a stone. You remember the exact second your mouth opened, the breath catching there, the physical wave of nausea when you realized how close you came to saying it.
In this hour, the almost feels heavier than the did. The body remembers the tremor.
But listen — the light was in that room last Tuesday, and it is in this room right now. It was not absent when you hesitated.
It was not broken when you swallowed the words. The true light that gives light to everyone was already there, holding the space where your voice failed.
You did not lose anything by staying silent. The thing inside you cannot be spilled by accident, and it cannot be lost by a closed mouth.
The nausea will pass. The dawn is coming.
You are still here, and the light never left your throat.
